We know that planning a party or event can bring up plenty of questions, so we have answered the most common ones below.

Weather & Safety

What happens if the weather is bad?

If high winds, heavy rain, extreme heat or other conditions make the hire unsafe, we may need to cancel, delay or adjust the booking.

Where a weather cancellation is made by Rugby Inflatables, the options available will be explained in accordance with the weather cancellation terms applying to your booking.

Is it safe to use an inflatable in windy conditions?

Outdoor inflatables must not be used above their permitted wind-speed limit. The general maximum is 24 mph, although some inflatables may have a lower limit. Visit our Wind & Weather Guidance page.

Do you provide safety equipment?

Yes. Appropriate anchoring, electrical safety equipment and operating guidance are included. Outdoor hires also include an anemometer and wind-recording sheet.

Who is responsible for supervision?

The hirer is responsible for ensuring appropriate adult supervision throughout the hire unless a separate staffed-hire service has been booked and confirmed.

General Booking Questions

How do I book a bouncy castle?

You can book directly through our website in just a few simple steps. Alternatively, you can contact us by telephone, email or social media and we will be happy to help. Visit our How to Book guide for more information.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for weekends, school holidays and peak summer dates. Availability is limited and popular dates can book quickly.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A £20 deposit per inflatable is required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable where the booking is cancelled by the hirer.

When is the remaining balance due?

The remaining balance must be paid in full before or upon delivery on the day of hire, unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing.

Can I change my booking after it has been confirmed?

Changes may be possible, subject to availability.

More than 14 days’ notice: We will normally try to accommodate reasonable changes.

Within 14 days: Changes may be treated as a cancellation and our standard cancellation terms may apply.

What is your cancellation policy?

More than 14 days before your event: Up to an 80% refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit, or the option to reschedule within three months.

Within 14 days: No refund will normally be issued.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email.
