PIPA Testing, Training & Best Practice
PIPA is the Professional Inflatable Play Association inspection scheme. It provides a recognised system for inspecting inflatable play equipment that falls within its scope.
Our operators have completed inflatable operator training, and we follow relevant PIPA guidance and industry updates to help maintain safe working practices.
✓ Safe setup and dismantling procedures
✓ Correct anchoring and securing methods
✓ Pre-use equipment inspections
✓ Risk awareness and hazard identification
✓ Clear safety guidance for customers and supervisors
Check the PIPA tag
Inflatables covered by the PIPA scheme carry a numbered tag. The inspection status can be checked using the official PIPA register.

✓ Assess venue suitability and access
✓ Confirm the ground or indoor floor is suitable
✓ Apply appropriate control measures
✓ Follow relevant Health and Safety Executive guidance and industry best practice
On-Site Safety Checks
Every inflatable is checked during setup using a structured on-site safety process. This helps ensure the equipment is secure and ready for use before it is handed over.

✓ Blower securely attached
✓ Safe blower and cable positioning

The inflatable will not be handed over for use until the setup checks have been completed.
Indoor Venue Safety
Indoor hires require different checks from outdoor bookings. Before confirming suitability, we consider:

Ceiling Height
Including lights, beams and suspended fittings.
Available Floor Space
Including suitable clearance around the equipment.
|
Access Route
Doors, corridors, steps and carrying distance.
Power Supply
Suitable sockets and safe cable positioning.
