Our Approach to Safety
Providing an inflatable safely involves much more than simply
delivering and inflating a bouncy castle.
Before, during and after each hire we consider the condition of
our equipment, site suitability, anchoring, electrical safety,
operating pressure, weather conditions, supervision requirements
and any additional hazards present at the location.
Our written documentation supports those procedures and provides
customers, venues, schools, organisations and event organisers
with clear information about how we manage safety.

Our standard documents provide a framework for safe operation.
Every booking location is different, so site conditions are also
assessed when our team arrives. If we believe a location or
operating condition is unsuitable, we will not set the equipment
up until it can be made safe.

garden, hall, school or event location.
Our team therefore assesses the actual setup area
when attending your booking and considers any
location-specific hazards before installation.

outdoor hire.
Customers should follow the weather guidance supplied
with their hire and stop use whenever conditions
become unsuitable.
✓ Weather Is Continually Considered
Weather safety is not limited to the forecast checked before
delivery. Conditions may change throughout an outdoor hire,
so the responsible adult must continue to monitor conditions
and stop use where necessary.
Rugby Inflatables' current safety documentation uses
24 mph as the maximum wind speed for the
inflatable guidance provided, subject to any lower
manufacturer-specific limit.

One Safety System – Not Separate Pieces of Paper
Our documents are designed to work together.
The risk assessment identifies hazards, the Method of Work
explains how our team carries out the job, the supervision
guidance explains how the equipment should be managed during
use, and the emergency guidance explains what to do when
something does not go to plan.
This is supported by equipment inspection, maintenance,
electrical checks, customer guidance and site-specific
assessment at each setup.
