Rugby Inflatables is committed to operating responsibly, treating people fairly and conducting our business with honesty and integrity.

This voluntary statement explains our approach to modern slavery and human trafficking within our own activities and direct supply relationships.

Our Position

Rugby Inflatables is operated by Macauly Peel as a sole trader.

Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 places an annual transparency-in-supply-chains reporting requirement on certain qualifying corporate bodies and partnerships with the prescribed level of turnover.

Rugby Inflatables is not required to publish an annual statement under that provision.

We have nevertheless chosen to publish this statement voluntarily because responsible purchasing, fair treatment and ethical business practices are important to us.

About Rugby Inflatables

Rugby Inflatables is an independent bouncy castle and inflatable hire business serving Rugby and surrounding areas.

Our activities primarily involve inflatable and party-equipment hire, equipment maintenance, insurance, website and booking services, transport, safety services and the purchase of equipment, replacement parts and consumable supplies needed to operate the business.

Working With Suppliers

As a small business, Rugby Inflatables does not operate a large-scale formal supplier auditing programme.

Where practical and proportionate, we aim to use established suppliers and consider matters such as their reputation, reliability, suitability and the nature of the goods or services being supplied.

If credible concerns relating to modern slavery, human trafficking or serious unethical practices were identified within a direct supplier relationship, we would consider the circumstances and take appropriate action. This could include seeking clarification, reviewing future purchasing or reconsidering the relationship.

Risk & Due Diligence

Our approach to supplier and modern-slavery risk is proportionate to the scale and nature of Rugby Inflatables.

Where a concern arises, we may consider factors including:

• The nature and seriousness of the concern.
• The supplier, service or product involved.
• Information available from credible sources.
• Whether clarification or further information should be requested.
• Whether an alternative supplier is reasonably available.
• Whether continuing the supplier relationship remains appropriate.

We do not claim that every supplier, manufacturer or tier of another organisation's supply chain has been independently audited by Rugby Inflatables.

Equipment & Product Sourcing

Inflatable hire equipment, electrical equipment, replacement parts and other products may have supply chains extending beyond the direct business from which we purchase them.

Where practical, purchasing decisions may take account of the identity and reputation of the supplier, product suitability, available documentation, manufacturing information and the overall reliability of the product or service.

Safety, suitability and applicable technical requirements remain essential considerations when purchasing equipment for use within Rugby Inflatables.

This is not presented as a statutory Section 54 annual statement. It is a voluntary public statement describing the approach taken by Rugby Inflatables.

It will be reviewed when there is a material change to the business, its supply arrangements, identified risks or applicable legal requirements.
