Our Safety Checks Before Every Hire
Safety is at the centre of every setup. Before an inflatable is handed over for use,
we complete a series of checks covering the equipment, site, anchoring, weather,
electrical supply and operating pressure.
Every Setup Is Assessed Individually
No two gardens, halls or venues are exactly the same. We assess each location carefully
and will not install equipment where we believe it cannot be operated safely.

Site Inspection
We check the proposed setup area before unloading or installing the inflatable.
- The ground or floor is checked for suitability.
- Overhead and surrounding hazards are identified.
- Access routes and emergency clearance are considered.
- The required operating space is confirmed.

Inflatable Inspection
The inflatable is visually checked before and during inflation.
- Seams, anchor points and step areas are inspected.
- Netting, walls and artwork are checked.
- Inflation tubes and closures are secured.
- Any defect affecting safe use results in removal from service.

Anchoring
Every anchorage point provided by the manufacturer is used as required.
- Outdoor inflatables are anchored into suitable grass or soil.
- Ground stakes are installed securely.
- Anchor points and straps are checked for tension and condition.
- Indoor setups use suitable positioning and restraint methods.

Wind Monitoring
Outdoor hires are assessed against the inflatable's permitted wind limit.
- An anemometer is used to monitor wind conditions.
- Our maximum operating limit is 24 mph.
- Customers receive wind guidance for outdoor hires.
- Use must stop if conditions become unsafe.

Operating Pressure
We check that the inflatable reaches and maintains the correct operating pressure.
- A manometer is used during setup.
- Pressure is checked against the required operating range.
- Blower performance and inflation are observed.
- Any pressure issue is investigated before use.

Electrical Safety
Electrical equipment is positioned and connected with care.
- Blowers and leads are visually inspected.
- RCD protection is used.
- Cables are routed to reduce trip and damage risks.
- Electrical equipment is PAT tested where applicable.

Blower Positioning
The blower and inflation tube must remain protected throughout the hire.
- The blower is kept clear of the play area.
- The inflation tube is fitted securely.
- Airflow is checked for restriction.
- Customers are advised not to switch off or move the blower.

Final Handover
Before leaving, we complete a final review and provide the relevant safety guidance.
- The inflatable is checked in its final operating position.
- Safety rules and capacity information are available.
- The responsible person receives supervision guidance.
- Any site-specific instructions are explained.
Testing and Documentation
Our inflatables are PIPA tested where applicable and our electrical equipment is maintained
and tested in line with relevant requirements. We also use risk assessments, setup records
and operating procedures to support consistent standards across our hires.
Customer Responsibilities During the Hire
Safety continues after setup. The responsible adult must supervise the inflatable and
follow the safety instructions provided.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- User numbers and height limits must be followed.
- Food, drinks, face paint, sharp items and unsuitable clothing must be kept away.
- The inflatable must not be moved, altered or switched off.
- Outdoor wind conditions must continue to be monitored.
- Use must stop immediately if a safety concern develops.
We Will Not Compromise on Safety
If the weather, ground conditions, available space, access or power supply is unsuitable,
we may delay, relocate or cancel the setup. We understand this can be disappointing, but
we will always place safety ahead of completing a hire.
