🏰 Why Choose a Village Hall?

Village halls and community centres are a popular choice for children's parties, especially when you want plenty of space without having to rely on the weather.

With an indoor venue, you can often keep your bouncy castle, party food, decorations, games and seating together in one space.

They're particularly useful during autumn and winter when Rugby Inflatables operates indoors only from October through to 31st March.

📏 Check More Than Just the Floor Space

One of the most common questions we receive is whether a particular bouncy castle will fit inside a hall.

Floor space is important, but it's only part of the answer. Ceiling height can determine which inflatables can safely be installed inside a venue.

When looking at a hall, it's useful to check:

🎈 Low-Height Inflatables Can Make a Big Difference

Some halls have plenty of floor space but a relatively low ceiling. That's where our low-height inflatable range becomes particularly useful.

Our Party Fun Low Height Castle measures approximately 15ft × 11ft and has a height of around 2.8m.

We also have our Party Fun Front Slide Combi, measuring approximately 12ft × 18ft, which combines a bouncing area and front slide while being designed with indoor venues in mind.

Every booking is still considered individually, as layouts, access arrangements and available space can change.

⏰ Don't Forget Your Hall Access Time

If your party starts at 1pm, that doesn't necessarily mean you should book the hall from 1pm.

We need access to the venue before your guests arrive so we can bring the equipment inside, position the inflatable, anchor it correctly and complete our setup checks.

When making an indoor booking with us, your venue access and finish times are therefore just as important as the actual party time.

Collection is normally planned for around 30 minutes before your venue exit time, allowing us time to safely pack the inflatable away.

🔌 What About Electricity?

Our inflatables use electric blowers which run continuously while the inflatable is in use.

You'll therefore need suitable access to electricity at the venue. As a general guide, we require one suitable 13A socket per inflatable.

We provide the appropriate extension equipment required for our setup and use electrical protection as part of the installation.

🎂 Think About the Rest of the Party Too

It can be tempting to look at an empty hall and think there's room for several inflatables, but remember that you'll probably need space for much more than the bouncy castle.

Depending on your party, you may also need room for:

• Tables and chairs
• Party food and the birthday cake
• Parents and other guests
• Decorations
• Party games
• Access routes and emergency exits

Leaving sensible space around the inflatable also makes the party much more comfortable for everyone attending.

   Decide when you'd like to hold the party and check availability.
2. Find your venue.
   Check the hall dimensions, ceiling height, access and available hire times.
3. Choose your inflatable.
   Find an option that works safely within the available venue space.
4. Allow setup and collection time.
   Make sure your hall booking gives us enough access before and after the party.
5. Book and enjoy your party!
   Once everything is arranged, we'll take care of delivering, professionally setting up and collecting your inflatable.
