Preparing for Your Bouncy Castle Delivery

Your booking is confirmed—now it's time to get ready for the big day! A little preparation before we arrive helps us install your inflatable safely, quickly and with as little disruption as possible.

Whether you're hosting a birthday party, family celebration, school event or community gathering, this guide explains exactly what to expect before our team arrives, during installation and once your inflatable is ready to use.

Most of the preparation only takes a few minutes, but it helps ensure everything runs smoothly so you can relax and enjoy your event.

Before We Arrive

There are a few simple things you can do before our delivery team arrives that will help us complete the installation as efficiently as possible.

🌿 Mow the Grass

If possible, mow your lawn a day or two before your hire. This helps provide a tidy, even surface for installation.

🪑 Clear the Area

Please remove garden furniture, toys, football goals, trampolines and any other items from the installation area before we arrive.

🚗 Keep Access Clear

Where possible, leave the access route into your garden free from bins, bikes, plant pots and other obstacles.

Our team follows carefully planned delivery routes throughout the day. We aim to arrive within your agreed delivery window and will professionally install your inflatable before carrying out our safety checks.

Power Requirements

Every inflatable requires a continuous power supply to keep it inflated throughout your hire.

Before we arrive, please make sure:

  • A standard 13-amp outdoor or indoor socket is available.
  • The socket can remain switched on for the duration of the hire.
  • The power cable route is kept clear where possible.
  • Please don't unplug the blower while the inflatable is in use.

If you're unsure whether your power supply is suitable, simply let us know before your booking and we'll be happy to advise.

Pets & Garden Access

We know pets are part of the family, but for everyone's safety we'd appreciate it if dogs and other pets could be kept indoors or securely away from the delivery route while we're unloading and installing the inflatable.

Once the inflatable has been installed, we also recommend keeping pets away from the equipment to help prevent accidental damage and keep the inflatable clean for everyone using it.

During Your Hire

Once your inflatable has been installed, there are a few simple things that will help keep everyone safe while ensuring the equipment remains in excellent condition.

👨‍👩‍👧 Adult Supervision

A responsible adult should supervise children using the inflatable throughout the hire.

👟 Shoes Off

Shoes, glasses, jewellery and sharp objects should be removed before using the inflatable.

🥤 Food & Drinks

Please keep food, drinks, chewing gum and face paints away from the inflatable to help keep it clean and safe.

Weather on the Day

The British weather can be unpredictable, but your safety always comes first.

If strong winds or other unsafe weather conditions are forecast, we'll contact you as early as possible to discuss the available options.

Please never continue using the inflatable during unsafe weather conditions without following our advice.

If you have any concerns about the forecast before your booking, simply get in touch and we'll be happy to discuss it with you.

When It's Time to Collect

At the end of your hire, our team will return within your agreed collection window to safely pack away the inflatable.

To help us, we kindly ask that:

  • Children have finished using the inflatable before we arrive.
  • The access route is kept clear.
  • The blower remains switched on until a member of our team arrives.
  • Any personal belongings are removed from the inflatable.

We'll take care of everything else, leaving you free to relax after a successful party.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be at home for delivery?

Yes. A responsible adult aged 18 or over must be present to show us where the inflatable will be installed and receive the safety briefing.

Can you move the inflatable once it's installed?

No. Once installed, the inflatable should not be moved. If you're unsure where you'd like it positioned, let us know before installation begins.

What if my garden isn't ready?

Preparing the area before we arrive helps avoid delays and ensures we can safely complete the installation within your delivery window.

Can I turn the blower off?

No. The blower must remain switched on throughout the hire unless instructed otherwise by a member of our team.

What if I have questions on the day?
